Abbie Zara Dyer is a multi-disciplinary visual artist. They use a freehand method across media; such as painting, drawing and printmaking. The freehand method allows them to utilise mark-making techniques to create expansive and bold bodies of work.
The powerful and evocative subjects of trauma and vulnerability are central themes within their work. Dyer’s practice draws upon self-reflection that is built from personal experience. This allows them to give a voice to the silence that trauma brings, and allocates investigations into the beauty, spiritualism and healing within such omens of evil intent.
