Eleanor Baddick is a multidisciplinary fine artist with a socially engaged practice. Influenced by her roots in North Devon, she utilises the natural world to communicate her core themes of memory, comfort and identity - collectively, and through an autobiographical lens. With a particular love for glasswork and sculpture, her work employs a phenomenological standpoint to question an comprehend the relationship between sensory stimuli and the psyche.
Baddick implements a heightened level of attentiveness regarding emotional sentiment activated from said stimulus, spring-boarding her practice into the realms of mental state observation and well-being.
