Oswald and The Spiders of Fortune
Emily Ellis is a multidisciplinary artist that explores identity, inspired by mythological narratives. Her most recent works take a sculptural approach to the topic, exploring the relationship between clothing and plaster.
Her current research expands her knowledge of what identity is and how it can be reflected through these fabricated narratives. The sculpture establishes a basis to these narratives, exploring a origin to the story and reflecting this against her own ideas of identity and mythology.
