Jack Hobson explores bodily connections with technologies; acquiring digital spaces and new media, experimenting with the form of art through this. Humour within parody and obscurity is often used in conjunction with typically perceived ‘low’ digital mediums and presentations, such as selfies or video games -  the awkward and silly are embraced . Recent work explores more structured modes of storytelling in a longer video form.


The digital landscapes of Instagram © and Playstation™ Network act as his inspirations, other times literally his canvases. Bodies morph and melt within animations, as the organic is invaded with pixelated dreams and nostalgic escapism.
