The gift of connection
Rebecca Vincent is a Fine Artist whose work explores themes of communication and connection between people. She uses a variety of materials often found and reusable as a way to minimise her carbon footprint.
The current body of work uses crochet to combine both organic and synthetic materials to express connectivity and networks in the human experience. Vincent sees art as a connective experience in its own right encouraging conversation and interaction.
She is keen to have a conversation with the viewer exploring how we view connection in
contemporary society and how we can re-address our current experience of connection.
