Zachary Little is a multidisciplinary, possibly-extraterrestrial artist whose practice centres on worldbuilding, speculation and myth fiction. His work utilises a range of digital and physical media to create immersive, playful works that often border on the absurd, but reflect contemporary themes and issues we encounter in our everyday lives.
In ‘Blacksite’, he explores themes of conspiracy and extra-governmental secrecy, framed through the paranoid musings of an individual seeking to explain and rationalise a secretive paranormal organisation’s unethical activities. Utilising the visual languages of ‘the crazy wall’, analogue horror, ciphers and codes, ‘Blacksite’ reveals a window into a mind driven to the brink of insanity through exposure to unexplainable phenomena, horrifying experiments and soul-crushing bureaucracy.
